THRILL-seekers can make the most National Roller Coaster Day
this Friday thanks to a number of great deals at UK theme
parks.

It means you can go on all your favourite rides while saving on
the usual entry fees.

The day is in celebration of the vertical loop roller coaster

patented by Edwin Prescott
following his Loop-the-Loop ride on
Coney Island on August 16, 1898.

So if you’re planning to take advantage of the cheap deals
available, read on to find out some of the best ones around.

Alton Towers

Alton Towers is not just celebrating National Roller Coaster
Day, but also 25 years of the famous Nemesis roller coaster.

Starting from Friday, guests can get entry tickets for just £25
– less than half price – just by bringing in a physical picture
of them on an Alton Towers ride.

With tickets normally costing £58 at the gate, families can get
a bargain as long as they have a ride shot from a previous
trip.

But even if you don’t, book online before you go and
you’d only have to pay £34 per ticket.

Thorpe Park

This Thursday, the theme park is offering sixth form students
free tickets depending on their grades on A-Level Results Day.

The first 100 people who arrive at the gates with grades between
A to C will get a free ticket.

Students who aren’t in the park first or didn’t get the
grades can still get £20 off
tickets if they book ahead
meaning they pay just £33.

RAINY

Drayton Manor

Drayton Manor guests can save money if they are travelling as a
group of four.

Their new four for £88
ticket
allows any four people of any age to pay just £22 to
enter the park.

With walk-in tickets costing £39, its a saving of nearly £70
per group.

The deal is currently on offer until September 1.

Park

Guests visiting the famous theme park, home to the UK’s Peppa
Pig World, can save over £100 when they book a weekend break.

The Short Break deal includes park tickets for the family and an
overnight stay at one of the hotels.

However, the current deal offers a
second day in the park for free
.

Based on two adults and two children, prices start from just
£49 per person – saving £139 on a family of four ticket.

Legoland

Legoland families can save up to 40 per cent until the end of
the week.

Their summer deal, which runs until September, allows guests to
buy one ticket for £60 and get
a second ticket free
.

Families of four can save up to £120 thanks to the deal.
